Heart of the Matter

Welcome to body psychotherapy on Cape Cod.  Gretchen Stecher is a body-centered psychotherapist and massage therapist.   She has been working with clients affected by emotional and physical abuse and addictions since 2001.   She has trained staff and volunteers to help people heal from sexual assault and domestic violence and has facilitated numerous therapeutic groups.   In 2009 she completed a four year apprenticeship with Linda Marks doing Emotional-Kinesthetic Psychotherapy.   Gretchen conducts EKP workshops on the Cape and has a private practice doing EKP, recovery counseling and coaching, as well as massage.   Her passion for honoring the sacredness of being authentically present, along with her training and experience, merge to create an organic, heartful approach to healing.
